There are some wicked Beowulf pictures up at AICN.  I'm looking forward to seeing this movie but I have to confess as much as I love animated stuff, I usually prefer live action and ome of those pictures don't change that preference.  Actually some of these look less than cool to me, but I'm hoping that's because it's not the finished product.  Still, the technology for this is supposed to be interesting and as AICN reports, not one of those pictures is a photograph. 

ETA: Neil Gaiman says on his blog that the pictures are from the Art of Beowulf, and therefore not the finished product.
